Purse Auction

The purse auction has proved to be a very successful and popular fundraising

event! All money raised in the auction of your purse will be credited to your

team’s overall fundraising total.

How it works:

Your team will donate a purse AND an item(s) that fit inside of the purse for the auction. The purse is

emptied of its contents and switched with the contents of another purse so that no one knows what is

inside of the purse. The purses are placed on tables during the event for people to bid on. Previous

items donated in purses have included movie tickets, baseball tickets, restaurant gift cards, spa

treatments, and hotel accommodations. The sky is the limit as long as it fits inside of your purse! We ask

that the item or items within your purse total at least $25.

Forms will be available when you submit your purse donation inquiring about the brand of the purse,

the gifts provided inside, and the team that donated the purse. We must have the team name for the

donation in order to credit the money earned to the team’s total!

Silent Auction

Similar to the purse auction, the silent auction is another fun and exciting Relay fundraising event!

Again, all money raised in the auction of your donated item will be credited to your team’s overall

fundraising total.

How it works:

Individuals or teams will donate an appropriate item for the silent auction and people will bid on the

item. Previous items include hand crafted work including Relay themed items. Bidding for purse and

silent auction items will likely occur simultaneously in the same area. There is no minimum bid and no

limit to how high someone can bid!

Forms will be available when you submit your silent auction item. Please include your team name your

team can be credited for the money earned on the auction item!
