Chinese 101-102: Elementary Chinese – Chinese Character Practice Sheets

Instructions: Make enough copies of the blank pages for your use all semester.

(1) Begin each character on a new line. (2) Write the pronunciation and meaning in the first

column. (3) Write the whole character in the second column. (4) Write the radical for that character

in the third column. (5) Then write out the stroke order, starting with the first stroke in the fourth

column and adding one stroke per cell. (5) Finally write the full character at least six times.
