Astronomically speaking, as the earth rotates on its axis, a different degree
of the sun’s path around it rises above the horizon every 4 minutes, resulting in a
new constellation (zodiac sign) on the ascendant approx. every 2 hours. So
because of this, within the 24-hour day, any of the 12 zodiac signs will be found on
this ascendant. This constant rotation is the reason why it is highly unlikely that
someone will have the same sun, moon and rising sign as you. That every 2 hour
rotation that a new ascendant is on the rise, some individual is getting his or her
rising sign (as if being given a star). Magical! It is my belief that-that “star” given
to us is that gift-that destiny and karma mission and purpose in life. Henceforth, the

Astrologically speaking, the rising/ascendant sign is the sign that was
ascending the horizon at the month, date and time you were born. It is the hidden
you, but it is the first impression that you give to others-a subtly dominate part of
your personology and outward manifestation of the “you” that the world perceives.
Also, the ascendant is the sign that has very much to do with the way you express
yourself (if you discover your karma mission and purpose in life-which is what this
book is written to help you find). It is your niche’ sign by which your natural
talent, skill & ability are found-where your karma mission to lead, organize or
communicate will exude. As explained at the beginning in the section:
“Methodology: The Algorithm for Determining Your Purpose in Life,” the reason
for focusing on this ascendant sign is to provide you with a full understanding of

way of it; your destiny is to be fulfilled-should you choose to live life through it
