Example: 5 is a prime number because the only numbers you can
multiply to get to five is 1, and
5, 1 x 5 = 5
Factor? Factors are the numbers you multiply together to get another
number: Example1: 1 and 5 are factors of 5 1 x 5= 5
example2: 3 and 4 are factors of 12 3 x 4 = 12
