Round 6, last repeat:
Round 6.
Knit as charted, on last repeat stop 1 stitch before the end and move
Move marker back one stitch
marker back to this point, this will be the beginning of the new decrease
round. Leave last stitch unworked until Round 7, this stitch will be brown.
Round 7.
Slip next 2 stitches (last stitch of round 6 and 1st stitch of new round-7) as if to k2tog, k1, pass the
slipped stitches over. S = slip K = k1 see chart, the lighter boxes with the “S” will disappear as you
work this round.
Knit this stitch,
pass the slipped
stitches over
Marker moved back one stitch
Slip 2 as if to k2tog
Round 8.
Knit as charted, move marker back 1 stitch at the end of last repeat.
Round 9.
Slip next 2 stitches (last stitch of round 8 and 1st stitch of new round-9) as if to k2tog, k1, pass the
slipped stitches over.
Continue in this manner until you complete the chart.
Round 24. *k2tog; repeat around. Draw yarn through remaining stitches.
*Tip: the slipped stitches are a combinations of the last stitch and the first stitch of the round, the first stitch to
the left will start to have a raised feel and appearance.
