North High School Chapter of the National Honor Society.

The North High School Chapter of the National Honor Society is primarily a service-

oriented group. It provides service to North High School and the community through various

activities and acts of volunteerism. Students who are selected will be expected to contribute their

time and energies to a variety of service projects that benefit the school and community.

Students who have been invited to apply have already established themselves as our top

students in many areas. Please be aware that the National Honor Society qualifications include

not only evidence of outstanding scholarship, which this student has already displayed, but

equally high standards in the areas of character, service, and leadership. It is regarding these

qualities that your input is most important.

You were probably asked to submit this recommendation because the student believes

that you hold them in a favorable light. Please understand that your response will be held in
