BARN HUNT TITLE APPLICATION
The AKC will record titles earned in Barn Hunt Association (BHA) events. When a dog earns the title of Novice Barn Hunt
(RATN), Open Barn Hunt (RATO), Senior Barn Hunt (RATS), Master Barn Hunt (RATM), Barn Hunt Champion (RATCh) or the
Master Champion (RATChX) title the owner may submit this completed application along with a copy of the BHA title
certificate plus a $20.00 recording fee and AKC will place the title on the dog’s record and it will appear on the dog’s AKC
pedigree. No AKC title certificate will be issued unless ordered through the use of this form for a fee of $10. Applying for the
AKC title and ordering a title certificate is at the discretion of the owner. Higher level titles will supersede previously recorded
Barn Hunt titles. For example, RATO will supersede RATN on a dog’s pedigree. All dogs must be AKC registered or listed in the
Canine Partners program to receive an AKC title. Please be aware the event superintendents/secretaries may, but are not required
to, print AKC recognized barn Hunt titles in event catalogs. Please keep a copy of this form for your records.
