EMERGENCY: if there is an emergency, please use the telephone and dial
Tell the operator whether
you need POLICE, FIRE or AMBULANCE. PLEASE, KEEP SAFE AT ALL TIME
SAFETY: NEVER open the door to strangers. Check with us before you leave someone you know enter our
home.
FOOTWEAR: shoes must be taken off when you enter the house, and you can keep your slippers at the
entrance in the laundry room for you to wear as soon as you enter the house. Please, do not use outside shoes
inside our home.
YOUR
BEDROOM: please keep your room tidy an in order. NO FOOD or DRINKS are allowed at anytime
in the bedrooms. You can bring water in a safe container, like a water bottle. Once a week, we will vacuum your
room. For that purpose, please do not leave stuff on the floor.
SHEETS AND
TOWELS: every Saturday, please give us your bed sheets and your towels, so we can do the
weekly laundry. They will be given clean back to you the same day, so you can make your bed. If you need it, we
can show you how to make the bed.
SHOWERS / BATHS/WASHROOM
Please, leave the washroom clean when you are done shower, or you
used the bathroom. Remove all hair and leftover soap, if necessary, off the floor, counters and bathtub. Please
leave the bathtub clean and rinsed. Please remove the rubber mat in the bathtub every time you finish using the
bathtub, and hang it to dry on the shower. Please limit your time in the shower to 10 minutes and make sure you
open the window to “air” the bathroom after you are done. We provide hand soap, toilet paper, towels and face
cloth for you to use. All other toiletries and hairdryer, if needed, are your responsibility.
KITCHEN
please clear away any of the dishes that you use, and clean up after yourself in the kitchen. You can
help yourself with food if you need it. We like having a meal with you, possibly dinner during the week. Please be
home on time, around 6pm every day. If you need more time, please check with us before your are late.
SMOKING: this is a NO SMOKING HOME.
ALCOHOL: no alcohol is to be drunk in our house.
PROBLEMS OR
CONCERNS: please talk to us if you have any problems or concern. We will do the same if
needed. We want you to have a pleasant experience with us. Please respect our requests and our belongings. Use
“please and thank you “when you ask for something and use our belongings with care.
