(Regulation
7)
APPLICATION BY AN ALIEN OR BRITISH PROTECTED PERSON FOR
A CERTIFICATE OF NATURALISATION
CAUTION - Section 14 (1) of the Jamaican Nationality Act 1962, provides
that: -
"Any person who for the purpose of procuring anything to be done or not to be done
under this Act or under the provisions of Chapter II of the Constitution, makes any
statement which he knows to be false in a material particular, or recklessly makes a
statement which is false in a material particular, shall be guilty of an offence and
shall be liable on summary conviction before a Resident Magistrate to
imprisonment with or without hard labour for a term not exceeding three months."
The form must be read carefully before it is completed. Portions of the form which are not
applicable should be struck out and initialed in every case.
