In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Illuminated Boat Parade and being fully aware and advised of the inherent risks associat-

ed with boating both during the day and at night, the undersigned voluntarily acknowledges and assumes any and all risks associated with partici-

pation in the Parade. Additionally the undersigned applicant voluntarily agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of St. Petersburg, The Pier,

the Rotary lub of St. Petersburg, their officers, employees, and agents, any and all sponsors, any and all event committee members and/or volun-

teers, in the performance of their duties, from any and all damages, losses, injuries, claims, suits, actions, expenses, and/or liabilities incurred direct-

ly and/or indirectly as a result of participation in this Parade, including but not limited to any incident(s), or injury(ies), or damage(s) occurring as a

result of action(s) by the undersigned applicant, and/or passenger(s), crew member(s), guest(s), or other individual(s) on board applicant’s vessel.

IMPORT NT PLE SE RE D It is each skipper’s responsibility to navigate the parade route safely and to

determine safe waters for their vessel using current charts and tide tables. Each boat must have a working

VHF radio, capable of operating on Channel 68, as well as sufficient safety equipment as required by the

Coast Guard for the boat and all passengers.
