PLUMBING CODE LICENSING

Follow These Instructions or the Bond Will Not Be Approved by the County Counselor

Be sure the bond form conforms to that of the St. Louis County Dept of Public Works.

Bond must be in the licensee’s name, not the company name.

The Plumbing Code license department has 6 types of master licenses.

Please u se the

correct license terminology:

• Master Plumber

• Master Sprinklerfitter

• Master Drainlayer

• Master Lawn Irrigation System Installer

• Master Pipefitter

• Master Water Heater Replacement Specialist

Bond number must be printed on the top of each page on the bond form

Bond must be signed by the principal (master license holder) and must be notarized.

Bond must be signed by the surety company’s attorney- in- fact and signature notarized.

Underneath each signature, type or legibly print the names.

Bond must bear the Seal of the Surety Company.

The surety company’s Power of Attorney letter must be attached to the bond.

The effective date of the bond, the date of the Acknowledgement of Surety, and the date of the

Power of Attorney must all be the same date.
