11. Plan, coordinate and manage the efficient collection and storage of OQE in three
primary formats- Master Paper Record, Copied Paper Records, Digitally Stored
PDF records.
12. Develop list of QA codes that specifies clearly what OQE requirements vendors
must comply with and interface with Purchasing Supervisor/ Shipping Receiving
to ensure vendor supplied materials are delivered with correct paperwork.
13. Work with Engineering Manager and Purchasing Supervisor to develop BOMs
with Material Class Designation (MCD) levels (A/B/C) and QA Codes to help align
purchasing procedures and policies to match the OQE requirements vendors
must comply with.

14. Serve as ISO representative & interface with all 3
party inspectors (CSA, NDT,
Customers) and certification agencies to perform the necessary testing in
sequence with the production schedule.
15. Photograph and record key steps in the production flow on a per project basis.
16. Work closely with the Production Manager to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly
working environment.
17. Manage master Objective Quality Evidence records in both print and digital
format.
18. Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
Position Requirements
(General description of job requirements common to job role (not person-specific)
1. 3-5 years of experience in quality supervision in metal fabrication or electrical
industries.
2. Associate’s degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related
field is preferred, or an equivalent level of directly related quality supervision
experience.

3. Familiarity with requirements of 3
party agencies, codes and applicable
standards.
4. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System. QMS Auditor
certification considered and asset.
5. Must have demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
6. Language: written and spoken English, neat hand writing considered an asset.
7. Ability to communicate effectively across departments with engineering and
production staff.
8. Detail Oriented and very well organized with paper and binders.
9. Fair, honest, courteous and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
11. Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic workplace.
12. Valid BC driver’s license.
