INSTRUCTIONS FOR TEACHER
The student named above is applying to an ISA Gap Year program. ISA Gap Year programs offer high school graduates the opportunity to study abroad before
entering college. The programs do not have to encompass a full year as students can choose from a variety of ISA summer or semester programs, or a combination
of both. ISA Gap Year participants will be grouped with ISA college students from across the United States. ISA Gap Year programs are ideal for students who want
to explore their interests, delve into unfamiliar territory, and are ready for an experience that will help them enter college more focused and independent.
Please keep in mind ISA Gap Year participants are required to have achieved a certain level of academic success and are expected to be emotionally mature enough
to deal with the daily pressures of a foreign environment. As such, students must abide by the ISA Code of Conduct without constant supervision.
If you have any further questions regarding what is required of ISA Gap Year students, please contact ISA directly via email at or at
800.580.8826.
