EXPEDITED TITLE SERVICE
This packet has been designed to help with the processing of an application for expedited title.
Florida Statutes 319.323 allows for the issuance of titles called “Expedited Title.” The law requires that
each title be issued within 5 working days after receipt of the applications, except for a duplicate title
which must be issued within 5 working days after compliance with the verification requirements. The
fee for this additional service is $10.00 for vehicle and mobile home and $5.00 for vessel (not including
transfer fees).

Expedited title service is available from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Expedited title transactions must be paid by cash, cashier’s check, money order or checks drawn
on a U.S. bank and payable in U.S. dollars.

Titles processed over the counter will be released the same day to the owner or person holding
a notarized affidavit, Power of Attorney or an Expedited Title Authorization Affidavit (attached).
A Florida or Out of State Photo Driver’s License, Florida I.D. card, U.S. Passport or Stamped Out
of Country Passport must be presented with a signature before the title can be released.

All other transactions (i.e. towing & storage, rebuilt, salvage, etc.) must be dropped off or
mailed for processing and will be issued within 5 working days of receipt.

A prepaid envelope from an express mail service may be included to expedite receipt of your title. If a
FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. return envelope is enclosed; you must have an existing account with that carrier
for billing (a credit card will not be accepted as a method of payment).
