Sticker chart

I make copies of this sticker chart and put one in each student’s

folder. Students place stickers on it to follow the path, as they

would in a board game. The prizes occur randomly, which seems

to add excitement for the kids. When they finish a sheet, they

start another (I remind them it is so they can keep getting

prizes all year… otherwise it may look like an unending cycle to

them). At the end of the semester or year we staple all the

sheets together for them to take home.

I have the students use a date stamper to indicate the date

under each sticker. This prevents “extra” stickers from

somehow sneaking onto the sheet. I discovered that my

students like using the date stamper almost as much as they like

the stickers and prizes.
