: The main objective of this lab is to learn some of the important features of primate

biology through comparisons of cranial and dental features seen in non-human (prosimians,
monkeys, apes) and human primates. Careful examination of these anatomical/behavioral
characteristics in the living primates will allow us to interpret the fossil record for primate evolution
as well as understand the major evolutionary trends for the order.
