STUDENT VISA PROCESS AND REQUIRMENTS
To obtain the student visa you need to contact the concerned university in Argentina for the admission. Once you get register
yourself in the university and you have paid the required fees, the university will contact the Department of Immigration in
Argentina in order to get you a student visa. The university will then get the residence permit for you from the immigration
and will send it directly to you by post. The university is responsible for applying for your student visa.
As soon you receive the documents regarding the issuance of your visa you will then have to contact the Embassy of
Argentine Republic in Pakistan with the followings:
Documents to Present:
1. Two sets of Visa Application Form (Original) dated & signed by the applicant.
2. Three recent photographs 4x4 cm with White background (put in an envelope - DO NOT PASTE).
3. Photocopy (on A4 paper only) of Valid Passport (first & second page) including valid visas.
4. Company’s bank statements for the last year certified by the bank (with name stamp of bank officer).
5. Round Trip Flight Itinerary: Ticket, E-Ticket or booking by travel agent (4weeks in advance from the date of interview).
6. Hotel Reservation or accommodation arrangements (7 weeks in advance from the date of visa interview).
Hotel/Accommodation Arrangements and Flight bookings must be corresponding.
7. Original Birth Certificate (Legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan & Consular Section of the Argentine
Embassy) (Legalization fee of Consular Section: 60USD per document).
8. Original Police Clearance Certificate for the past five years issued by the Federal Police Department (Legalized by the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan & Consular Section of the Argentine Embassy).
9. Original Marriage Certificate (if any) (Legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan & Consular Section of the
Argentine Embassy).
10. The School/University must obtain an Entry Permit from the Argentine Immigration (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones
D.N.M.) and presented it to the Consular Section.
11. Proof of Registration in the Institution.
12. International Health Insurance.
13. International Credit Card (If Available).
14. Original Invitation Letter must be written in Spanish, signed by the Argentine School/University must have the following
information:
a.
Complete details of institution/university inviting. Contact reference can only be a person not an institution.
b. Complete personal information of applicant, passport details, purpose of visit & time duration of academic session.
c.
RENURE Number of institution/university must be mentioned in the invitation. Person/Institution inviting foreigners
to Argentina must be registered in RENURE (Registro Nacional Único de Requirentes de Extranjeros).
d. Invitation Letter must be certified by a Notary Public (Escribano Público) and Notary Association (Colegio de
Escribanos) in Argentina. Scanned copy of invitation letter is acceptable just to start visa process but Original
Invitation Letter is mandatory.
Please note all documents in English must be translated into Spanish and signed by an authorized translator or notary
public.
Application Submission: Applications (without original passport) can only be submitted via our Drop-Box service provider,
FedEx (Gerry's International, Tel: 111 711 111). Drop-Box Service charges Rs. 1500/- per application payable to Drop-Box
only. The Consular Section of the Argentine Embassy does not receive/deliver passports by Drop-Box or mail. .
