Herding Master Title Application Form

Effective January 1, 2012 a Herding Master title may be earned when a dog passes a class eight additional times, after

earning its initial title in a trial class (level-course-stock). The Master title is designated by the addition of the letter M

on the end of existing titles. The owner shall record each of the eight passes on this form. Once eight passes have been

completed, this form is submitted to the AKC Performance Events Department. Upon verification, the title is placed

on the dog’s record and will appear on the dog’s pedigree. No title certificate will be issued unless ordered through the

use of this form for a fee of $20. Ordering a title certificate is at the discretion of the owner. The Master level title will

supersede the initial title earned in the class. For example, HSASM will supersede HSAS on a dog’s pedigree. Please

keep a copy of this form for your records.
