Third Grade Japanese Writing Homework Challenge!
Attached you will find Hiragana Writing Practice Homework. This is the first of 8 writing homeworks
that you will receive this year. Here are the rules for the Homework Challenge:
1) You must complete the first homework in order to receive the second. You must do the second
homework in order to receive the third. Jessica-sensei will record the homeworks you bring in on a
class chart.
2) You can take as much time as you need to complete each homework. I will give new homeworks
about once every one or two weeks. There will be a final deadline in June. You must complete all
8homeworks by then.
3) Homework must be done NEATLY and COMPLETELY, or you will get it back to fix.
Practice Hints:
1. Be sure to follow the STROKE ORDER for each character.
2. Write the whole character each time. Do not write in parts.
3. After you fill all the boxes, circle your best ones.
4. Write the character in the word boxes too, and try to read the words.
Students who complete all 8 homeworks will be
invited to a Japanese luncheon or shopping day (your
choice) in Jessica-sensei’s classroom in June!
