ATTENTION:

If France is your main destination: you can apply to the French Embassy in Korea

If another Schengen state is your main destination: you must apply to the consular

authority of that country.

If your stay in various Schengen states is of equal length: you must apply to the

consular authority of the country through which you enter the Schengen Area.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO APPLY FOR A SCHENGEN VISA

(All documents must be submitted on your appointment day)

Passport valid for at least SIX months beyond the validity of the

requested visa original + 1 copy)

Application form for a schengen visa

1 photo (color, 3.5*4.5cm size, length of face between 3.2cm-3.6cm,

white background)

Korean residence permit (ALIEN CARD) (original + 1 copy)

FINANCIAL GUARANTEE

For worker in Korea:

a. Certificate of employment

b. Salary report for last three months

c. Certificate of bank balance(=certificate of deposit balance) in english

For self-employee in Korea:

a. Certificate of business registration

b. Certificate of income

c. Certificate of bank balance(=certificate of deposit balance) in english

For student in Korea:

a. Certificate of enrollment for your university in Korea

b. Certificate of bank balance(=certificate of deposit balance) in english

For unemployed:

a. Affidavit of sponsorship

b. Certificate of marriage

c. Copy of passport or ID card of your sponsorship

d. Financial guarantee of your sponsorship

ATTENTION: Certificate of bank balance must have been issued in the 5 days preceding (week-

end and holidays excluded) your visa application date

PURPOSE OF YOUR TRIP

a. For tourism: plan of your trip (download the form on our website)

b. For study: certificate of enrollment from a school in France

c. For business or conference/forum: invitation from the institution AND letter of mission

from your company/institution/school
