The selections on this list are recommendations based on grade-level averages for reading fluency,
reading comprehension, and interest-level. Each child’s level of reading skill, interest, and maturity must
be considered when making reading selections. Selecting a book to cultivate a love for reading in your
child is not one-size-fits-all. Please make selections that will best suit the developmental, academic, and
moral needs of the child.
