Covers calendar dates 9/6-9/30, due Monday 10/3
Directions: You must practice for a minimum of three hours per week for full credit (3hrs=10pts a week). Logs are due every month, two weeks per side of the
form. Each practice log is worth a total of 40 points— (3 pts/hour and 4 points for turning in the assignment). Up to an additional 2 hours may be logged for extra
credit (1 point per hour). At the bottom, complete the total hours for the week and both the student and parent must sign. No signature = not accepted.
Late practice records may be turned in the same week for full credit. Practice logs are only accepted up to one week late for half credit. After that time, no
Private lessons, sectionals, and Jazz/Marching/Concert Band practice may count for up to half (1.5 hours of 3hrs) of total required practice time each week
if in more than one ensemble.
Please list exactly what was practiced for each item logged. Be specific: include measure numbers, the piece of music
practiced, and the time practiced. This includes the total length of time as well as time of day (i.e. 30mins, 3:30-4:00pm).
Label any sectional time by adding the word “sectional” in the box next to the logged practice.
