MEDICATION USAGE IN PREGNANCY
Pregnancy is a time when women are very careful about what medications, foods, etc. they take. This
caution is wise, but there are actually a limited number of exposures that actually cause problems in the
fetus. The following is a list of common items that may be used safely at any time in pregnancy. These
medications have all been proven safe over many years. If you have questions about any medications not
on this list, please call the office.
