I’m very excited to share with you my plans for this summer! I am joining THE WAY program at

LeTourneau Christian Center. This will be my (# ___ )summer in the program. THE WAY program

is a serious discipleship and Christian service ministry to students ages 14 and up. For 8-10

weeks I, along with 20 or so other students, receive discipleship training in biblical studies and

Christian ministry. This year our studies will focus on committing and preparing to sell out to

Christ. Each day, we will also have an opportunity to meet with other students and our staff leader(s) to

discuss what God is doing in our lives. During THE WAY program, I will also serve in one of the many

areas of camp ministry, such as maintenance and grounds, kitchen, dining hall, waterfront, as a kids’

camp counselor or some other ministry area. I am hoping to work in the _______________ area.

To allow as many students as possible to have this amazing opportunity, the camp needs to raise

scholarships for THE WAY program. They have set up the Avis and Gerri Fund in honor of two

special ladies who served at LeTourneau for 60+ years! This fund will enable as many students as

possible to join THE WAY program. The cost to house, feed, disciple, and provide a small stipend

for each student is approximately $125 a week. My goal is to raise $1,000 for the summer. If you

would like to help me be a part of THE WAY program, you can sponsor me for any amount.
