Our Company will install and configure the installation of a new Nokia 660 Firewall with 1
RAM kit and 25 IP licenses. We will prepare and install a base Firewall rule set that is
consistent with the best commercial practices for security as set forth by Checkpoint.
Additionally, we will customize the rule set for this project’s application. This work will
involve receiving the firewall, racking it on existing racks within the data center, connecting it
to the network, and meeting with the Hardware and software engineers to develop a Port Map
that is consistent with their needs as well as current security practices. This information will
be used to develop a Firewall policy rule set that will be subsequently pushed to/installed on
the firewall. Once installed, this policy will be tested by attempting to access a device behind
the firewall through allowable Ports (which should allow for a connection) and through
disallowed ports (which should result in a dropped connection and a log report on the firewall
if logging is enabled.).]
