Secondly I would like to improve the communication between parents and the PTA. We are
currently working on a number of channels:
PTA class representatives
Improved email communication via the school office
Better use of the school website
All PTA paper communication will be on green paper so it is easily identifiable
Updating the PTA notice board (situated outside the staff room)
Money that is raised by the PTA is currently spent in two ways. Half is spent on experiences for the
children such as the pantomime that the children attended before Christmas. The other half is spent
on equipment. At the most recent committee meeting it was decided that we should have a specific
focus for equipment spending. It was agreed that for the rest of this academic year funds would go
towards the refurbishment of the playgrounds and we have already committed to spending £500 on
new play equipment. ‘Love Your School Day’ in April will be particularly important in helping us
achieve a fantastic outdoor play and learning environment for all the children.
Finally if you are interested in joining the committee please do email
. PTA meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each term,
rd
please feel free to come along (next one will be 3
March). All the dates for PTA events can be
found on the school newletters, website and noticeboard.
Thank you in advance for your help and support.
