• Call p arents t o n otify t hem o f s eizure a fter i t h as c eased a nd t he s tudent

is a roused.

• If s eizure l ast l onger t han 5 m inutes: C all 9 11. P age f irst r esponder

team o r c all t he s chool n urse a t E xt. 1 05 f or a ssistance. C all p arents.

• Administer r escue m edication, i f a vailable f or s eizures l asting l onger

than 5 m inutes a s p rescribed b y t he p hysician. M onitor b reathing

• If 9 11 i s c alled, r emain w ith s tudent u ntil p aramedics o r o ther

via a mbulance, a s chool s taff m ember i s t o a ccompany t he s tudent t o t he

hospital w ith a c opy o f t he h ealth e nrollment c ard a nd r emain w ith t he

student u ntil t he p arents a rrive.
