a works-cited-list entry and in-text citation for their assigned text. For this lesson,

you should do the following:

1. Explain to your classmates how you used the MLA Handbook to find the

information you needed to cite your source. Provide strong sample in-text

citations and a works-cited-list entry. Please consider likely variations on the

source that your classmates may be using (e.g., a print or e-book version of a

novel).

2. Prepare either a paper handout or a slide show (e.g., PowerPoint) that outlines

your presentation and offers clear sample citations for your classmates.

3. Prepare a five-point comprehension quiz on the material you cover in your

presentation. After finishing your presentation, please distribute the quiz to

your classmates and prompt them to complete it. Then collect it and return

graded quizzes to the instructor with the form provided.
