STUDENT SPORTS PARTICIPATION / CURRENT OR PREVIOUS SCHOOL YEAR
PURPOSE OF FORM:
This form may be used for the purpose of gaining partial eligibility for a student transferring
between high schools when there has been no change of domicile on the part of the parents or legal guardian. (See
Article 15, Section 15.10, Paragraph 15.10.8, Subparagraph 15.10.8.2 concerning use of this form.)
APPLICABLE AIA BYLAW
Article 15, Section 15.10, Paragraph 15.10.4 Transfer Rule Exceptions – Without Change Of Domicile – Unless otherwise
specifically stated in the AIA Bylaws, a student who transfers from one high school (the sending school) to another high
school (the receiving school) when there has been no change in domicile for the parents or legal guardian shall be eligible
to participate in interscholastic activities at the receiving school, except those sports in which the student has competed
during the current or previous school year.
NOTE: This form may be used only once during a 12-month period.
The RECEIVING SCHOOL is responsible for securing all materials, statements and signatures, and shall submit a copy of
the completed form to the AIA Office.
