Job Summary:
Electrical engineers design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required
specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
Essential Functions:
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components,
products, and systems for industrial purposes.
Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and
testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment
specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Provide technical assistance to field personnel in the areas of high voltage distribution equipment and high
voltage motors/generators
Respond and provide technical assistance to electrical equipment problems within the company-owned
facilities
Direct and oversee vendor shop repairs on high voltage motors and equipment to ensure quality
Issue repair reports at the conclusion of critical jobs for proper historical documentation
Identify engineered resolutions to recurring electrical issues
Improve plant/equipment reliability through historical trending and improved maintenance procedures.
Lead and participate in Failure Analysis and Vulnerability studies.
Execute equipment maintenance strategies (predictive and preventive)
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Insure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional
publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:
BS Electrical Engineering Degree is a minimum, Active PE license is preferred
A minimum of 3-5 yrs electrical engineering experience in operations and maintenance of large industrial
plants is required
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities;
Strong communication skills and ability to deal tactfully and efficiently at all levels of the organization;
Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills;
Awareness of operational safety requirements in a manufacturing environment and ability to apply and follow
procedures and requirements per regulatory bodies;
Strong desire to be a part of a start-up/high growth company with an entrepreneurial spirit and a fast-paced,

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee
frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger,
handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The
employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 40
pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust
focus.
