ROLE

Assist BCM Project Lead (Senior Engineer / Associate / Design Manager) on medium to large

projects

Undertake the design of mechanical services for designated projects

Proactively seek all required information from BCM Project Lead to ensure delivery of designs

in time and on budget

Research innovative solutions for use by BCM

Raise profile of BCM by ensuring quality of our designs and service

Ensure comprehensive documentation and audit trail is maintained for all projects in line with

BCM quality management system.

Act as BCM Project Lead on small fee projects

TASKS

Undertake detailed mechanical designs & calculations

Production of CAD drawings & Revit MEP models

Preparation of specifications & reports

Regular communication with our key Client and Contract teams

Maintenance of project audit trail including document control registers

Undertake site condition surveys

Research new opportunities and solutions for appraisal by the Senior BCM team

SKILLS REQUIRED

Bachelor Degree qualified

Passion for delivering sustainable projects and designs

Excellent interpersonal, written & ICT skills

AutoCAD capability

Tact and diplomacy

Attention to detail

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Degree qualified to Masters Level

Knowledge of BIM

Revit MEP design capability (or similar)

TAS Dynamic Thermal Modelling software capability (or similar)
