MASTER/MASTER RESTRICTED ELECTRICIANS
The license may be renewed if the application is received on or before the expiration date. If the application is received
within thirty days after the expiration date, it may be renewed upon payment of the license fee plus a $25 penalty fee.
Thereafter, a license will be issued by reciprocity or examination only.
Display of License: Article 11 of the Anne Arundel County Code requires licensees to carry the license while engaged in
work, to display the license in your place of business and to conspicuously display on the licensee’s motor vehicle the
name of the licensee as it appears on the license and the licensee’s telephone number.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mail with CHECK OR MONEY ORDER payable to Anne Arundel County.
2. Enclose a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY AS A CERTIFICATE
HOLDER. Limits of liability are $300,000 bodily injury and $100,000 property damage. Show proof of
Worker’s Compensation, if applicable.
3. Restricted electricians, if installing alarm systems, must enclose a copy of their state security systems technician
card.
