Job Description:

The Institute for Media Innovation (IMI) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) invites

applications for a “Web Designer” position.

The job includes the following tasks:



Responsible for the maintenance of the website , which cites the main objective as well

as highlights of the site's daily updates; which also contains hyperlinks that functions to

direct viewers to a designated page within the site's domain.



Propose and initiate new graphic designs of today’s high work quality standard of world

of web design and development.



Design and propose the content for the Institute’s new brochures and pamphlets



Collaborate on UI interface with researchers

Job Requirements:



Master Degree in Multimedia/Computing/Graphic Design or related field



Have a strong interest in latest web trends and a talent for design



Professional in software tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and others

Professional expertise in Flash, XML and MySQL/MSSQL are requested



Expertise in UI (Interface) design



Skilled in Sharepoint, HTML (HTML5), Java script , CSS or others



Strong knowledge in server side scripting like PHP/ASP



At least 3 years of related working experience and excellent command of English is

required
