About e4education:
Creative Solutions For Education
This is where it happens. Where a design becomes a website, and a website becomes an experience. We
have spent the last 13 years honing our craft and bringing the latest in design and technology to the
education sector. With over a thousand clients, we are highly regarded as one of the leading providers of
creative solutions for education. At e4education we believe our team say as much about us, as the work
that we create.
Our design studio is where concepts become realities. A place where ideas flow and collaboration is key.
Our team of social, creative individuals, share best practices and contribute ideas for big projects so that
every website is a success. We are a family of designers, illustrators, animators and developers, looking for
someone special to work as part of our team.
The Role:
At e4education we are continually evolving, developing new technologies and pushing the boundaries.
We’re looking for a talented individual with a natural flair for design. Experience counts but if you’re
awesome at designing websites, creating intuitive user experiences and working closely with developers to
bring it all to life then we’d like to hear from you.
Every design we create is completely bespoke and you will be required to contribute to the entire process,
from discussing ideas with our team, to prototyping and working with the front-end development team to
develop a website. You’ll be responsible for turning the client’s vision into reality. We never use templates at
e4education and as such, you will need to be highly proficient at creating ideas from scratch through client
consultation (face-to-face and remotely), wireframing and designing full visuals.
In this role you’ll be working on our mid to high-level projects, of which all are fully responsive. These
projects are powered by our very own CMS and in-house responsive framework. You will need extensive
knowledge of designing fully responsive websites, frameworks and methods including up-to-date good
practice and knowledge of modern design conventions.
This position is situated in Design Studio working alongside a mixed team of junior, mid and senior
designers. You will also have access to the latest Adobe Creative Cloud Suite using the best iMac/MacBook
and Wacom creative drawing tablet kit.
Responsibilities:
Face to face client consultations to discuss ideas and share knowledge.
Create wireframes, high fidelity mockups / concepts and work with the development team to create
prototypes (if required).
Work with client’s existing brand identity to help modernise and improve their marketing strategy.
Refining and perfecting design concepts during the initial design stages based on client feedback.
Coordinating with the Production Team to ensure projects are delivered on time to our clients.
Use the latest creative tools to create stunning work - even outside of common software (eg; Sketch
App).
