Job Description:

Senior Principal Software Engineer to lead proposal technical efforts, and design of Customer Service

Centers and Back Office Operations for Highways Transportation Management Systems.

Specific proposal responsibilities include interface with customer personnel prior to and during proposal,

evaluation of customer requirements, architecture development support, oversight of generation of

compliance matrices, generation of internal and subcontract Statements of Work. Candidate will support

the development of the System architecture and technical design for Customer Service Centers and Back

Office Operations during proposal. Upon contract award, candidate will remain on the design team through

approval of system design. Candidate is also expected to support business development with technical

presentations, support and guide internal research and development, and attend and present at industry

technical conferences.

Required Skills:

– Minimum 10 years experience in Software Engineering technical leadership involving direct interface

with customers.

– Minimum 5 years transportation experience as a Software Engineer in areas of architecture

development, integration and/or test, including Failover/Redundancy, transaction processing, audit,

customer account management, call service/call centers, billing/merchant interface, general ledger,

Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Security Access control and associated GUI and Web

designs

– Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written

format to upper management, customers and engineering staff

– Ability to travel

Desired Skills:

– Twenty years experience in Software Engineering, including at least 10 years in a technical leadership

role involving direct interface with customers.

Required Education(including Major):

B.A. /B.S. degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Science or Mathematics
