expert assistance? TOSHA Consultation, a no-direct-cost source of information and technical
assistance. You may be eligible for this consultation service which helps employers evaluate and
prevent the hazardous workplace conditions and work practices that can cause injuries and illnesses.
TOSHA Consultation has no out-of-pocket costs for the service itself…
The price is right! TOSHA Consultation works at no charge to eligible employers.
TOSHA Consultation is a service for smaller businesses…
TOSHA Consultation is specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses with
250 or less employees onsite and 500 or less employees total at all facilities in the US.
TOSHA Consultation never issues citations or penalties…
No citations are issued for hazards identified by the consultant, and no penalties are
proposed. All we ask is that you correct hazards identified during the visit.
TOSHA Consultation is confidential…
Consultative Services is a confidential service that is completely separate from TOSHA
enforcement operations. Only if an employer refuses to eliminate or control a serious hazard
or imminent danger situation within the agreed upon time frames will a referral be made to
TOSHA enforcement.
Our team of experienced consultants will do the following:
Help you recognize hazards in your workplace.
Suggest approaches or options for solving a safety or health technical problem.
Identify sources of help available to you if you need further assistance.
Provide you with a written report that summarizes these findings.
Assist you in developing or maintaining an effective safety and health program.
Offer informal training and education for you and your employees at your workplace
Our consultants will not:
Issue citations or propose penalties for violations of TOSHA standards.
Routinely report possible violations to TOSHA enforcement.
Guarantee that any workplace will "pass" a TOSHA inspection.
The services our team provides to you while onsite include:
An appraisal of current working conditions at your site and workplace safety and health
hazards based upon the scope of your request. This includes industrial hygiene sampling.
An appraisal of your safety and health program or assist in the establishment of one.
A written report of findings and recommendations.
Additional training and follow-up assistance by the consultant as needed.
