INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Unit Commanding Officers should assist Cadets in obtaining Navy Recruiting Station training.
2.
This form must be used to insure that Cadets are aware of the special rules governing training at U.S. Navy Recruiting Stations.
3.
Navy Recruiting Station training opportunities are arranged through direct contact with the local command.
4.
Include this completed form with the NSCTNG 003 (Locally Arranged Training).
5.
Refer to the current training schedule for any additional training requirements.

3a. Cadets must be 14 years or older, a graduate of NSCC Recruit Training, and an E2 to
attend Recruiting Station training.
3b. For female Cadets: Unit CO has confirmed that the hosting Recruiting Station has a
career female Petty Officers or Officers permanently assigned to their staff, and that one
will be assigned as a mentor for female Cadets.
3c. For all Cadets: Unit CO will brief Cadets that travel away from the station in the
performance of their duties is authorized ONLY when Cadets are accompanied by a career
petty officer; one of which must be of the same sex as the Cadet.
3d. Hosting activity Commanding Officers or Recruiters in Charge may terminate training
at any time for reasons of poor performance and discipline or for the health and well being
of Cadets due to weather or other disturbance. When notified of termination of training,
parents are expected to promptly arrange for pickup of their Cadet.
3e. Any other restrictions placed upon, or directions given to Naval Sea Cadet Corps
personnel by competent authority to enhance training or ensure Cadet safety, health, and
well being, will be adhered to without question.
3f. A copy of this form has been attached to the unit prepared NSCTNG 003 for Recruiting
Station training. The unit Commanding Officer will forward a courtesy copy of the orders,
with this completed attachment, to the hosting Recruiting Station Point of Contact prior to
the commencement of training.
