Please note: Law 7900-604 (Borderlands Law) is a prerequisite for Law 7837-601 (the Laredo Externship).
A student may not register for the Laredo Externship without also registering for Borderlands Law.
Preference for enrollment in both courses will be given to students who will have completed only 29 hours
as of May 12, 2016, and who register for both Borderlands Law and the Laredo Externship.

Borderlands Law;
(2) A brief statement (not more than 150 words) about why you are interested in enrolling in the
Laredo Externship and about the type of externship placement that you would prefer;

(4) A copy of your most recent transcript (an unofficial copy of your transcript is acceptable).

Both Borderlands Law and the Laredo Externship are limited enrollment courses, and my
registration for these two courses does not guarantee that I will actually be selected to enroll in
either or both of these courses.
Selection of students for enrollment in these two courses will be in the sole discretion of Professor
Stephen Alton.
