(ORGANIZATION)
Utah law provides that a religious or charitable organization shall be exempt from sales tax at the point of sale,
regardless of the amount of the purchase, if the purchase is made pursuant to a contract between the vendor and
the religious or charitable organization. In furtherance of this provision, the parties to this contract agree to the
following terms and conditions:
1.
VENDOR shall exempt ORGANIZATION from sales tax for all purchases made by ORGANIZATION
in the conduct of ORGANIZATION'S regular religious or charitable functions and activities;
2.
ORGANIZATION shall provide VENDOR with ORGANIZATION'S religious or charitable exemption
number, issued by the Tax Commission, at the time of purchase;
3.
VENDOR and ORGANIZATION understand that they remain subject to Tax Commission Rules
R865-19-23S and R865-19-43S;
4.
This contract shall be valid for a period of five years from the date on which it was signed; and
5.
Either party may terminate this contract at any time by giving 30 days written notice to the other
party.
In witness whereof, the parties sign and cause this contract to be executed.
