Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are working very hard on making good choices here at school. Our

goal as a class this year is to follow our classroom rules and make good

choices every day. A colored classroom behavior chart will be used so each

child can monitor his or her own behavior.

I want to keep you informed of your child’s behavior on a daily basis.

Your child will color a frog each day according to where he or she is on the

classroom behavior chart. Please sign the chart at the end of the week and

return it to school the following Monday.

EXAMPLE: If your child colors the frog green on Tuesday, that means he or

she followed the rules and made good choices in class that day.

GREEN – Way to Go! Great Choices!

YELLOW – Warning.

ORANGE – Lose 5 minutes of recess.

RED – Lose all of recess, email or note home to parents.
