R.S. 47:301(7)(c) provides a sales tax exclusion for a lease or rental of property to be used in performance of a
contract with the U.S. Department of the Navy for construction or overhaul of U.S. Naval vessels.

R.S. 47:301(10)(g) provides a sales tax exclusion for sales of movable property that is intended for future sale to
the U.S. Government or its agencies if title to the property is transferred to the U.S. Government or its agencies
before the property is incorporated into a final product. This exclusion allows persons who manufacture for the
U.S. Government to purchase movable property for re-sale to the U.S. Government without paying the advance
sales tax and then filing a claim for a refund.
