PUBLIC COMMENT NOTICE FORM
Rules: Topics for public comment must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Friday
preceding the Council Meeting at which you wish to speak.* Your notice can be submitted via
this form or by other written means (by mail or personal delivery) to City Hall, Attn. City
Council Comments, 207 N. Main Street, Orrville, OH
44667, or by email at
, or by facsimile at 330-684-5023. Pursuant to the Charter of
the City of Orrville, Section 2.09, comments should be pertinent to municipal affairs. Public
comment is limited to three minutes per speaker and should be presented in a civil manner.

*If you are unable to provide notice by 4:00 p.m. on the Friday preceding the meeting at
which you wish to speak, and you believe it is imperative that you speak at that meeting,
please contact any Council member and indicate your reason for not being able to
provide timely notice and why your comments cannot wait until the next regularly
scheduled Council meeting. A Council member may make a motion to allow you to
present your comment despite lack of timeliness, but the Council member has no
obligation to do so unless he or she believes in good faith that it was impossible or
impractical for you to provide timely notice and the topic of your comment is of such
urgency it cannot wait until the next regularly scheduled meeting. If a Council member
makes such a motion, it shall take a majority vote of Council to permit the comment to
be made at that meeting.
