All Girl Scouts of Connecticut Board approved awards, and GSOFCT Recognitions Committee approved awards require
endorsement letters. The Adult Recognitions in Girl Scouting Handbook, which includes specific criteria, descriptions,
procedures, and required forms for each award can be found at
in the Resource and Form Library.
Who Should/Should Not Write Endorsement Letter:
•
The endorsement letter may be completed by any individual except the person who nominates the candidate.
•
Each endorsement letter must be written by a different individual. Identical letters with different signatures and/or
multiple signatures will not be accepted.
Number of Endorsements:
•
Each recognition has a specific number of endorsement letters required to accompany the Adult Recognitions
Nomination Form. See below for exact number of endorsement letters per award.
Please send only the number of endorsement letters needed.

Endorsement Letter:
When completing the Adult Recognitions Letter of Endorsement, please write legibly using blue or black ink.
