SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
Irrevocable Letter of Credit* – must be issued by or confirmed by a bank located within Davidson County, Tennessee or any adjoining county and shall
bear an expiration date no less than six months beyond expiration of the Performance Agreement.
Surety Bond** – must be issued by an insurance company licensed to do business in Tennessee and must be non-expiring. The following surety
companies are excluded from providing surety bonds on new or replacement bonds until November 13, 2010: American Southern Insurance Company,
Developers Surety and Indemnity Company, Lexon Insurance Company, National Grange Mutual Insurance Company, and Travelers Casualty and
Surety Company of America.
Cashier’s or Certified Check*** –- must be issued by a financial institution located in Davidson County, Tennessee and must be non-expiring.
