EXAMINATION

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Minimum requirements for Multipurpose Residential Fire Protection Sprinkler Specialist Endorsement

examination:

•

Must be currently licensed as a Journeyman Plumber, Master Plumber or Plumbing Inspector in Texas

•

Must have successfully completed a Board-approved training program in as required by Board Rule Section

363.11(d) and submit certification of completion

•

Must submit Multipurpose Residential Fire Protection Sprinkler Specialist Endorsement Examination application

and appropriate fee ($80/Master, $27/Journeyman, or $40/Plumbing Inspector).

Examination:

The examination will test the applicant’s knowledge of the installation of Multipurpose Residential Fire Protection Sprinkler

systems as provided in the Board approved training programs in the subjects specified in Board Rule 363.11(d).

Identification:

Photographic identification, such as a driver’s license or state issued identification will be required from the applicant on

the day of the examination before an examination may be given to the applicant.
