OTHER SKILLS: Creativity, Fine Motor Skills (Drawing), Teamwork, Time Management, Spatial Perception
Give each student a blank sheet of paper and instruct them to draw a meadow (= louka) using at least five of the things on page
4 of the magazine. Give them a strict time limit of five or ten minutes and remind them when they have only one minute to finish.
Put the students in pairs and instruct them to keep their drawings a secret. Have the students take turns describing their picture
using prepositions such as “next to”, “under”, “between”, “on” and direction words “left” and “right” or “on the other side” while their
partner tries to draw the picture on the back of their own paper. The student who is talking should not touch or point at the other
student‘s work and must use only their words. When finished, have students present their drawings side by side.
