Meals for Families

• Help is needed to prepare meals for families within our school and parish that may be going

through a time where outside assistance and support would be helpful (birth, illness,

hospitalization, etc). You do not need to prepare the complete meal, you will be asked to prepare

a salad, main course or a dessert. You do not need to deliver the meal to the family, only to get it

to school so that a designated person will deliver the entire meal.

Parish Dinners

• Each Tuesday the parish hosts a potluck dinner. Help is needed with serving and clean up.

Please indicate what you would like to do and you will be contacted with a date for assisting.

Secret Santa Shop

• Help the children do their Christmas shopping for their family. Volunteers are needed to help the

children with their lists and their money. It is so much fun to watch the child’s face as they make

their selections! More information will be distributed when it is closer to the event (usually the

second week of December).

Sporting Events

• Concessions in the gym. Candy, popcorn. Soda and other treats are sold in the concessions when

there are games in the Sacred Heart of Jesus gym. It is easy! The concession area is active

during fall and winter sports. Your child does not have to be involved in the sports program for

you to volunteer.

• Running the scoreboard. Help is needed keeping score of the games that are in the Sacred Heart

of Jesus gym. It is easy to do once you have been trained. If you enjoy being close to the action,

this is for you!
