PROJECT MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR
demonstrated experience and knowledge in a broad range of engineering activities and
projects
highly developed project management skills
excellent contract development and administration skills
an understanding of the existence and application of relevant legislation, regulations,
standards and policies
highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
demonstrated knowledge and experience of budgeting and relevant accounting and
financial procedures
proficiency in the use and application of job set out and control, including the use of
appropriate survey equipment.
6 MANAGEMENT SKILLS
The incumbent will have the:
ability to manage own time to complete assigned tasks in accordance with agreed
timelines
ability to work closely with, motivate and develop internal staff and external contractors to
effectively and efficiently deliver projects
ability to develop and review procedures relating to tendering and contract management
ability to monitor and enforce relevant personnel policies during delivery of projects such
as OH&S, contractor compliance and safe working practices on site.
7 INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
The incumbent will have:
sound communication and negotiating skills.
8 EXPERIENCE
The incumbent will have:
suitable experience in a relevant engineering discipline plus demonstrated experience in a
related field
proficient in the operation of office based computer systems e.g. Microsoft Office Suite
broad experience in the development and administration of contracts
experience in quantity surveying and budget estimation
