Content filter override accounts will be issued only when there is a legitimate demonstrable need for this account and this need cannot be met by modifications

to the filtering list. Use of these accounts is a privilege and will be closely monitored by Technology Services. Abuse of these accounts may result in the revocation of the

override account, suspension of access to district technology services and/or punitive action against the employee. Punitive actions may include termination of employment

and/or criminal charges against the employee.

In signing this form, I agree to all of the following conditions of use:

I will adhere to the Oakland Unified School District Acceptable Use Policy at all times.

•

I will take appropriate steps to protect the username and password assigned to me, and will not share this information with any other individual, inside or outside

of Oakland Unified School District.

•

I will never apply the override account to a computer being used by a student, nor will I ever allow a student to access a computer while the override account is

active on the system.

•

I will never display restricted content to a student through the use of the override account.

The Oakland Unified School District reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time.
