1) Call to Order
SPL: Good afternoon. Please be seated. Thank you. My name is ________________, and I
am the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 93. Will Troop 93 please file forward to your assigned
seats.
The troop approaches from the rear in two files between the two halves of the audience
seating. They file into their chairs set up on either side of the room, but remain standing.
SPL: The ______________ patrol will now bring forward our American flag, a symbol of
our country and our freedom, as well as our troop flag, a symbol of our troop and a record of
our accomplishment.
Flags are brought forward with the Am. flag on the right and slightly ahead and held higher
than the troop flag. At the head of the room the troop flag pauses to allow the Am. flag to
cross to the right hand stand (to the right of the speaker). Post the flags.
SPL or Patrol Leader: Scout salute! Please join me as we pledge our allegiance to our flag
and country. Repeat the Pledge of Allegiance. Two! SPL: I now declare this Court of
Honor in session!
2) Opening Prayer
SPL: Will our Chaplain Aide, ____________, please come forward to lead us in prayer.
Prayer. SPL: Thank you, __________.
